Peyote Cactus has long been used in Native American ceremonial traditions, and it was also the first psychedelic drug to enter mainstream American culture, long before LSD and psilocybin. Grow your own! Contains 10 seeds.

Peyote is the popular name of the cactus Lophophora williamsii, the bud-shaped head of the plant is taken orally and this releases a number of psychedelic alkaloids, with mescaline being the main psychoactive ingredient.

Mescaline is structurally similar to LSD with similar effects and mescaline is naturally psychedelic with the power of chemical LSD. The psychedelic effects of mescaline occur by stimulating the serotonin 2A receptors in the brain.

Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) seeds are viable and therefore ideally suited for cultivation. The seeds grow very slowly. It takes several years before they can be harvested.
