Clavo Huasca is a large, woody vine that can grow up to 80 metres long and is native to the Amazon Rainforest and other parts of tropical South AmericaThe plant is also known as the clove vine because of the strong clove-like scent that emanates from the stem and leaves. The plant produces small, white flowers that are pollinated by bees and butterflies, and oblong, flat, bean-like fruits.

Effects of Clavo Huasca Clavo Huasca is used by indigenous Amazonian tribes such as the Shipibo Conibo, Kayapo en Assurini highly appreciated as a aphrodisiac, for both men and women. It is also used in various ayahuasca recipes, where it is added to settle the stomach, especially with the symptoms of nausea and vomiting that can occur after drinking ayahuasca.
