These finely ground herbal mixtures have been prepared for generations according to traditional recipes. What is rapé?
Rapé is a very finely ground mixture of herbs, tree ash, and plant material, traditionally prepared by indigenous tribes such as the Katukina, Yawanawá, and Huni Kuin. Each tribe has its own recipes and preparation methods, giving every rapé a unique character.
Traditionally, rapé is used in a ceremonial context, administered with a kuripe (self-applicator) or tepi (for administration by another). We pay attention to the origin of our rapé and work with suppliers who respect the tradition and the communities.
